Ranjitha is a popular actress of the South Indian cinema in the early 90s. She appeared in many successful movies. She was introduced by Bharathiraja in Nadodi Thendral. She then went to play female lead in many successful movies including Sathyaraj’s Amaithipadai. After getting married, she started working in TV serails. Roja is one of her successful serials. In 2009, Ranjitha has been approached by Prabhu Deva to play, the role of Vijay’s mother in Villu.
